- First, we received a UI design in Figma from her team. This design would be our reference for developing website’s front page.
- After ensuring the UI design is the final design, we proceed to the website development process.
- The website was developed using a custom template, allowing for greater flexibility to add features in the future. We use Full Site Editing (FSE) as the foundation for the theme development.
- For forms like contact forms and newsletters, we developed separate shortcodes and put them to the Gutenberg editor. By doing so, we would have freedom in both the frontend and backend.
- Further development was carried out by ensuring a responsive display so that the website can be accessed via various devices.
- Once the first design concept completed, we submited the design to Ewa for corrections and revisions if there is any.
- Revisions were done, and this process was repeated until she was satisfied with the results.
- Website is ready to launch.

Creating a website with a custom theme makes it very easy for us to add new features later if Ewa wants some. - Forms
The forms on the website are created without using plugins, but rather using custom shortcodes (written in PHP and WordPress hooks of course). - Responsive Display

Highlighted Feature : Forms
There are three types of forms in this website, which are subscriptions form (put on the footer), newsletter form (put on the blog page), and contact form.
Because the forms are created without using plugins but custom shortcodes instead, this will make us easier to :
- Make sure the forms look exactly the same as in Figma.
- Connect the forms to Mailerlite (a platform for managing subscribers).
Forms also come with Google reCAPTCHA to enhance security and prevent unwanted attacks. We set it up without using additional plugins as well.
